Schedule week 35

This saturday we had a good and very nice festival planned, but unfortunately it got cancelled ( because of bad presales ). Pretty disappointing but a couple of days after the cancel e-mail, I got a new e-mail that they wanted to relocated the festival into a smaller clubparty.

• September 1st - Birdman Reloaded, Horst

So september 1st was still on! Yes! Together with our friend Dune we are going to rock the 90's bar!

August 25th - 90's Night, Valkenburg

Last saturday was probably one of the few times that we performed somewhere really close to where we live.

We played in a small village called Valkenburg, between Heerlen ( where we live ) and Maastricht. It's a real holiday village, where in the summer are many tourists from Holland and beyond.

Ofcourse there many cafe's and bars, and we had to play in Cafe Agora, which is also a restaurant.

When we arrived, it was not that crowded. And the people who were there were more like having a drink. But after about 15 minutes, they all came down to the dancefloor and started to move.

We played for 3 straight hours ( which is quite unusual ) so we had all the time ;)

More and more people came down and we even got request which we played ofcourse.

At the end we had had a good party. We got some good feedback and the owner was satisfied too. What more can we wish for. Well except for a little bit more partypeople. Maybe next time .... ?

August 24th - Angels Night, Erp

Last Friday it was that time again .. after a two week break, we could rock again ...

Unfortunately a bit early, but hey, you can't have everything right ... ? This time we went to a small place called Erp, between Eindhoven and Den Bosch. It was Dj Darkangels birthday bash. She had a nice line up put together, and this time it was early hardcore time.

Our settime was from 10 to 11PM, so pretty early, but didn't stop us from making noise ! They only thing bad thing was that we couldn't play with CDJ2000's. It's not that we can't play with CD's, ( because my dj is even good with vinyl ) but we have all our music on three 32GB USB sticks ( all identical ), and on cd we only have some basics. Maybe stupid, but everywhere we play there are 2000's, so it's more like a habit.

The party was definitely alright, although the turn-out could have been a bit more. Natasja ( Dj Darkangel ) made a cool party again, with dj's like Human Resource, Omira, and special guest Megashira! There was even no entrance fee!
Everything else was well taken care of and we had a good time! Hopefully next year she will do this again.

Schedule week 34

After two weeks no gigs ( what was quite nice, considering the weather was about 25/30 degrees ) we are back on stage .. with two gigs ! This Friday we will rock at Darkangels Birthday bash and on saturday we will rock a small club near where we live !

• August 24th - Angels Night, Erp
• August 25th - 90's Night, Valkenburg

After two weeks it's time to rock ! And we show everybody that is coming that we are still alive !

August 5th - Dance Boulevard, Bergen Op Zoom

Last saturday it was the first time for us, to close a festival and man was it awesome !

They predicted lots of rain that weekend during the week, but in the end, it stayed dry ( with an exceptionnel 5 min shower somewhere at 4 PM ) So the partypeople at this festival had happy faces, and that's what we needed! 

The party was in a place called Bergen op Zoom, an almost 2 hour drive for us. But it was worth every minute.

There were 3 areas, one hardstyle and one electro house, and a 90's stage. The 90's stage, where we were performing, was the only one open air stage. So rain or no rain was really important to us.

At the hardstyle area they had dj's like The Prophet, Brennan Heart, Adaro, Radical Redemption, and Endymoin, and at the electro tent they had dj's like Ralvero, Lucien Foort, Gregor Salto and Vato Gonzalez. Pretty big names.

At the 90's stage they had Belgium dj's Da Boy Tommy and Da Rick and heroes Pat B and Dr. Rude ( who made an excellent remix for us ) among others. But we had the honor the close down the festival.

The people wanted craziness, and they got craziness. We went from happy to early, and back again ! We even played Broken from our dear friend Evil Activities ... ! It was really a crazy hardcore fest from the 90's ! What an energy we received ... ! Last track before the fireworks : Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo : Wonderfull Days!

Schedule week 31

Next friday and saturday we will have no gig because next weekend we are going to play at sunday ... the first time this year ... and it is an outside festival, with 3 different area's.

Lot's of dj's will be playing here including Vato Gonzalez, Brennan Heart, Dr. Rude, Endymion and Scantraxx' boss The Prophet among others.

• August 5th - Dance Boulevard, Bergen Op Zoom

The weather predictions are not that good, but we will hope for the best. Our settime is from 9.30 till 11.00 PM so we are closing down the 90's stage !

July 27th - Happy Typhoon, Tilburg

Last friday we drove to Tilburg, a city with 200.000 inhabitants and is situated not that far from Eindhoven. In this period it's also the time that the big fun fair takes place. It's the biggest in the BENELUX ( Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg )

The club where we are playing, Club Plaza, is in the middle of that fun fair.

Our settime was 02.00 till 03.00 AM, but I wanted to be there at at least 1.00 AM because Paul Elstak is playing before us, and that's always difficult. Even when he is not playing his best set, he still is PAUL ELSTAK. And I wanted to know what tracks he played, so that we wouldn't play the same ofcourse.

So we drove off at about 11 PM, and at that time the weather was still good. But when we arrived at Tilburg, it was raining heavy ...

But that didn't stop us from playing some good old early hardcore ! Ofcourse Paul did his thing together with his MC, Ruffian so the audience had a good warm-up :)

At 2 AM, it was our time to rock, and we did ! The partypeople seemed to think so too because I saw a lot of people dancing .. And we also got some good feedback afterwards. Again another party taken care off ...
